Who is funding School Choice™️ movement in MO Legislature?
Let’s connect the dots on the money 💰 behind the push for public private partnerships of Education in Missouri.
American Federation of Children
(National & Missouri Affiliate)
The 2022 Election ushered in a lot of outside funding from National School Choice™️ organizations.
(One of my friends started using the ™️ for the recent school choice movement and he is spot on. Thanks Unwokable Podcast!).
One such organization is American Federation of Children who made a total of $675,000.00 in contributions to Missouri Federation for Children Committee for the 2022 election cycle.
MO Federation for Children contributed $22k to RightPath PAC that continues to work against conservatives this session.
What does AFC (American Federation for Children) promote?
This is straight from their website.
Black Minds Matter, School Choice Boyz, La Federacion Americana
AFC: Black Minds Matter Project
What are the goals of Black Minds Matter?
“…bring attention to the inequities in the education system that eerily resemble the institutional injustices of our criminal justice system…”
“…societal inequities…”
AFC: School Choice Boyz
“…social justice…”
AFC: La Federacion Americana
“…reducen la segregacion racial…”
It’s very clear that making race a focal issue is an educational priority of AFC .
DEI & social justice anyone?
Don’t forget your communist fist.
Betsy DeVos and her ties to AFC.
DeVos founded AFC in 2010.
AFC ties to ALEC, the Corporate arm of the Legislature.
ALEC churns out model legislation to get all states doing the same thing. Can’t possibly have an original thought in Jefferson City, right?
UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab Expert Corey DeAngelis is working for AFC.
He is awkwardly running around the US having unsuspecting victims of his keynote speeches chanting “Fund Students, Not Systems”.
What makes him an expert exactly?
Working at UNESCO should be an automatic disqualification to speak on Education in the US, especially MO.
Yet the St. Charles GOP has invited him to speak at Lincoln Days this month.
Ya know… because the Missouri GOP platform doesn’t say anything about United Nations, right?
Oh, wait…
Who else has funded the MO AFC?
Rex Sinquefield
(Bless his heart.)
You can read the full article here at PR Watch.
St. Louis Native who has created wealth through Index Funds. Philanthropist donating to many organizations.
Founder, Show Me Institute
Founder, CEAM - CEAM lobbyist for Common Core in 2013
Contributions made Today and Tomorrow Foundation, and approve EAO that facilitates School Choice™️ ESAs for Tax Credits.
Funds numerous election campaigns.
Founder, World Chess Hall of Fame
Rex Sinquefield also made a large donation of $125,000 in the 2022 Election Cycle to the Conservative Solutions for Missouri PAC.
Who runs the PAC?
One of Sinquefield’s Show-Me Institute Board Members, Gregg Keller, is the Treasurer for the PAC.
The PAC is listed to be specifically for Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman.
Education is a big focus for Greg Keller and the Show-Me Institute.
More on Rex Sinquefield and gang’s “work” in Education coming soon…
Another large contributor to MO AFC, was Quality Schools Coalition that supports Charter Schools Expansion and ties to the Wal-Mart family, the Waltons.
You know… the Walton’s that are funding drag shows now.
Waltons are funding Drag Shows for Kids and Gender Ideology. They also want inside your school with School Choice ™️.
They are so charitable, amirite!?!
Americans for Prosperity
And one can not talk about big money in politics without mentioning the Koch brothers who have many organizations like Americans for Prosperity, Stand Together, Yes Every Kid, & 4.0 Schools with the Waltons, AFP Foundation, and more.
Koch and Walton Foundation’s Stand Together recently sponsored Austin, Texas Education Festival at SXSW music festival.
SXSW EDU had an interesting line up. One that I am sure the AFP (Americans For Prosperity - Koch) lobbyists in Jefferson City invited all the “conservative” legislators to.
What is Koch brothers Americans For Prosperity in Missouri working on?
Pushing Open Enrollment and having their foundation hold “grassroots” training all over Missouri. We call that Astroturfing.
