Charlie Shields’s P20 Council (Obama Initiative) met this week to talk data collection on Missouri Children. Cradle to Career.

Current State Board of Education President, Charlie Shields, passed Obama’s P20 Council in 2009 while he was a Missouri Senator. The council meet this week.

The P20 Council was created by Charlie Shields when he served in the Missouri Senate in 2009.

After 15 years of being dormant, the Missouri Legislature funded the council in the Missouri 2023 session through the budget.

This week the council met.

While the “Ed reformers” are busy beating their chests for government funded vouchers, they are completely ignoring real issues happening everyday in the State Department of Education.

When will they reign in DESE?

P20 Council is its OWN corporation that uses Missouri children’s data and sends it to a national database.

P20 Council must be repealed.
